During the 1960s, back in 1963, and in view of the fruits of his entrepreneurship, he converted his sole proprietorship into ESTANISLAO MILLER S.A., thus accompanying the growth that prevailed in the country in those years. Works such as Aluar in Puerto Madryn, Hilandería Tipoiti, the metallic structures for the electrification of the Roca Railroad were milestones in the history of ESTANISLAO MILLER S.A.

At the beginning of the 90s, despite its leadership as a manufacturer of large roofing and metal structures, it was very difficult for ESTANISLAO MILLER S.A. to sustain the pronounced growth rate achieved up to that moment, in the face of an unstable economic policy.

Translating the concept of crisis in terms of "opportunity", ventures into new markets and is committed to industrial improvement, until 1994, taking advantage of the new policies carried out by the National Government allowing the free import of capital goods such as This is the case of turnkey plants, the Board of Directors of ESTANISLAO MILLER SA decided to face the project of looking abroad for an advanced technology, which would allow the construction of metal structures at cost parity in relation to imported ones, which would later lead to greater competitiveness in the market. To this end, it plans to build a new industrial plant with state-of-the-art technology to carry out the development of the new project.

ESTANISLAO MILLER S.A. The construction of its new plant in the Industrial Park of La Plata begins. After analyzing different technological alternatives, in the tour of several countries, it was decided to choose the company VARCO PRUDEN BUILDINGS INC., Located in Memphis, USA, which had one of the most modern technologies in the world for the construction of metal structures.

In December of this year, after extensive negotiations, they signed a technology transfer agreement between ESTANISLAO MILLER S.A. and VARCO PRUDEN INTERNATIONAL. A spin-off and merger process creates MILLER BUILDING S.A. which later and due to the signing of the Joint Venture agreement with the American firm changed its name to MILLER VARCO PRUDEN S.A.

It was proven that ESTANISLAO MILLER S.A. It was a leading company in the Metallic Structures construction market, which carried out its works applying traditional construction systems, but the market demands in the “time-price” equation determined the transformation that it had created and achieved. In October 1997 the new Industrial Plant began to operate, under the corporate name MILLER VARCO PRUDEN S.A., with personnel whose training was carried out in the USA. This merged company will be in charge of manufacturing the metal structure with the latest technology and the company ESTANISLAO MILLER S.A., with its experienced staff, will be in charge of assembling the works whose construction was carried out by MILLER VARCO PRUDEN S.A.

Difficult times were crossed, the economy of the country was compromised and that reality did not escape our company. The setbacks were overcome, continuing to work with the support of our clients, who never wavered in the trust they place in us.

The economic recomposition was underway, the interior of the country was beginning to boost itself again. We manufacture and assemble large works in Rosario, Resistencia, Mendoza, Santa Cruz, we broaden our spectrum of clients beginning to make another type of industrial buildings, incorporating new materials such as insulating sheet panels in the construction of refrigerators.

Once the joint venture agreement with Varco Pruden International has been finalized, we have continued to grow obtaining a new generation of high-quality structures, taking advantage of the acquired machinery and the applied technology to position ourselves among the main companies capable of international competition, in this way MILLER is founded BUILDING INTERNATIONAL SA betting on the future based on tradition and solidity.

The Plant is proving small. We inaugurated the new painting warehouse, adding 1,552 m2 covered to the existing ones. The idea of ​​expansion will be completed in 2009 with the paving of the entire perimeter of the Plant with projection to new warehouses.

The constant of the company is the updating and adaptation to the market demands. At MILLER BUILDING INTERNATIONAL S.A. we look outside, we search, we investigate, we analyze new solutions according to the needs of the wide variety of clients. In this observation, a new business unit was born, construction in limited time. Our Administration offices wanted a change: we planned a comprehensive restyling of the building. We unify the environments with large glass walls, we add color and aesthetics, we totally restructure the dining room and kitchen sector. In conclusion: we focus on the well-being of the staff, creating a new fully functional physical space.

The project and documentation for the expansion of two new warehouses in the manufacturing sector is launched, one dedicated entirely to painting and the other for relocation of areas such as maintenance and warehouse.

We inaugurated the new sectors of the Maintenance area, expansion of the Storeroom, with the Archives sector mezzanine, expansion of warehouse 1 for dispatch sector and subsequent expansion of the warehouses 2,3,4,5 6 for the installation of a lane that serves for the transfer of parts ready to paint. In addition to the generation of four new workstations.

We want to highlight this year that 65 years of uninterrupted activity have been completed since the founding of the company that gave rise to this society that we lead today. Our recognition to its founder, Don Estanislao Miller, who for 30 years, with his entrepreneurial spirit and great tenacity, has given his imprint to this Industry that we are today. At present and for 35 years, with the leadership of his son Ricardo Estanislao Miller together with Jorge Estevez, we have grown, we have perfected and technified ourselves, achieving leadership in the metallurgical and construction industry market.

In the last phase of expansion of our Industrial Plant, we have inaugurated Warehouse 7 and we are already stowing the finished pieces, avoiding exposure to the elements before being taken to work. We already have almost 20,000 m2 covered, which will be used to install new and more technology for manufacturing, such as a new plasma cutting equipment that we have imported directly from Italy.

We incorporate two automatic machining centers, one of which has two selectable cutting and boring tools. We built the new special waste shed, a pergola for the landscaped area of ​​our Plant, a space for outdoor recreation, at the time of staff rest.

We started the program of the five “S” of continuous improvement for the maintenance of order and cleanliness in the establishment.
